Freiburg (dpa/lsw) – A 31-year-old defendant involved in several roadblocks in Freiburg was acquitted in February. As a spokesman for the local district court announced on Monday, the climate activist is not stuck. He got carried away and was described by police as cooperative and peaceful. The man was on trial for three counts of coercion. The defendant was accused of having taken part in three blockades in the Black Forest metropolis from February 7 to 15 with other demonstrators from the “Last Generation” movement. According to the spokesman, the verdict is not yet final.
