Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Because he made contact with boys via WhatsApp groups and is said to have sexually abused them later, a 45-year-old man is on trial in Freiburg today (9:00 a.m.). According to the Freiburg public prosecutor’s office, the defendant allegedly assaulted the children and adolescents between 2016 and 2018 in his apartment in Denzlingen (Emmendingen district) and other places in the area. In part, he is said to have paid money to his victims. In addition, the man is said to have referred young people to other people – with the aim of getting photos and videos of further sexual abuse. Initially, five days of negotiations are scheduled for the process (Ref .: 3 KLs 160 Js 40636/17).
