Crime – Düsseldorf – ex-police officer admits child abuse – Panorama

Düsseldorf (AP) – In the trial of the abuse of three little girls before the Düsseldorf Regional Court, a former police officer largely admitted the allegations. A spokeswoman for the regional court said on Tuesday that the 63-year-old defendant “mostly stood” when the trial began on Monday. The “WAZ” had previously reported. After the indictment was read, the public was excluded. Witnesses were not heard at the start of the trial on Monday, but photos were inspected.

The accused has to answer in court for 14 child abuse and one rape. The acts are said to have been committed over a period of 13 years in an allotment garden in Düsseldorf. In addition, more than 1000 images of serious child sexual abuse were found during the searches of his apartment, the prosecution said.

The pensioner has been in custody since January. The alleged victims are now 14, 22 and 25 years old. The trial is scheduled to continue on June 30th.
