CredoPlanning: better organize work during the period of release from confinement

During the period of release from confinement, the media libraries of the city and the Strasbourg Eurometropolis had to adjust the schedules and adapt to an unprecedented situation. With the tool CredoPlanning, the reorganization was carried out smoothly. –

On May 19, after more than 2 months of closure, the indicator lights of the H 24 return boxes of the media libraries of the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg went green again, signaling the beginnings of a return to normal .

More than 200,000 documents were then borrowed and the teams had to organize themselves to manage the new system for quarantining returned documents.

15 days later, the Click & Collecte service was launched. The implementation of this new service, not so easy to organize in a very short time, constituted a new challenge for the teams, part of which was still teleworking: receiving calls, managing reservation lists, “picking »Documents on the shelves, making appointments to deliver reserved documents or subscriptions to users at appropriate time slots according to the type of media library. 12,660 documents were borrowed as part of this operation.

Finally, on July 4, the 11 media libraries of the City and the Eurometropolis reopened their doors to the public and the bookmobile resumed its rounds.

CredoPlanning was a particularly powerful tool to support, within very short deadlines, the emergence of new services and the successive reorganizations of the work of the teams.

Put into production in the fall of 2019 throughout the network, it makes it possible to manage the schedules of the 300 agents on a daily basis, including around 30 temporary employees. Thanks to a powerful suggestion system, it makes it possible to replace an absent person very easily, while at best ensuring fairness between agents for the most restrictive tasks.

The administrator of the tool benefited from the advice of the Crescendo Systems International, always very responsive and able to create in a few clicks and in complete autonomy new workstations, new activities, open or close workstations and modify their schedules to keep pace with the evolution of the situation. The managers were able to adapt the schedules of the different phases of the recovery of activity and offer quality services to readers.
