Pandemic does not seem to reduce Indonesian gadget lovers to hunt for their ideal cellphone. The proof Galaxy S21 Ultra 512 GB, priced at Rp. 22 million, is the most sought after.

According to Taufiq, there are a number of reasons why consumers in Indonesia choose the Galaxy S21 Ultra 512 GB over other variants. First is media storage because many download movies or series from streaming service providers to watch offline anywhere.
“So there is no need to think about the remaining capacity if you have high storage. Because as we know Netflix with the standard resolution up to 200-300 MB. But if you want a higher resolution, a Full HD video can be up to 1 GB, “explained Taufiq.
The second reason is pictures. To shoot 108MP photos, one image can be as large as 25MB. Not to mention if you use the RAW option where the size is even higher.

Third, because the size of the game has recently gotten bigger, so it requires ample storage space. For example PUBG and Free Fire of 1 GB, then Genshin Impact up to 5 GB.
“Finally, 50% of Galaxy users are upgraders, they don’t want their old cellphone data to be left behind or removed. If previously using 128GB and 80% of it is already filled, it will be carried away,” said Taufiq.
“That’s why many consumers choose the highest storage variant option on the Galaxy S21 Ultra 512 GB,” he continued.
Promo Upgrade
Samsung had given a free upgrade promo on the Galaxy S21 Series pre-orders. It’s just that the program is limited to 17 January.
But seeing that enthusiasm is still high, Samsung has extended the promo. So the order for the Galaxy S21 Series 128 GB will get 256 GB, while 256 GB will get 512 GB.
“This free upgrade promo is until January 27,” concluded Taufiq.
