Inter has just pulled its head out of the loop against Parma and thus continues to target second place.

For a long time on the 28th Serie A matchday, there was a lot of evidence of a Parma victory against Inter: In the 15th minute, the strong Gervinho gave his team a 1-0 lead. Inter then had a hard time. When an outsider’s victory was slowly emerging, the Milanese struck like a top team: In the 84th minute, defender Stefan de Vrij headed for the 1-1. Parmas Kucks then lost his nerve and protested so violently about an alleged nudge that he was sent off. With one more man, Inter needed another 3 minutes to score the 2-1 winner thanks to substitute youngster Alessandro Bastoni. 2 defenders were crucial for Inter.

In the table, the Nerazzurri are now 4 points behind the second-placed Lazio in third place. Antonio Conte’s squad lacks 8 points on leaders Juventus. Atalanta, on the other hand, secured fourth place: The team from Bergamo kept the upper hand 3-2 against Udinese and is therefore still on the Champions League course.
