According to him, by the end of June, Ukraine will have at least 3.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, along with those that have already arrived. Of this amount – 1.5 million doses of the vaccine from Sinovac (Coronovac).
“500 thousand doses of Coronovac have been delivered, another 500 thousand will be delivered next week. In mid-June, laboratory control of another 500 thousand doses of the drug will be completed,” Lyashko said.
He also stressed that 473 thousand doses of Pfizer from COVAX have already arrived, and the same number is expected after June 7.
“And there will be a plus by the end of June 500 thousand Pfizer, purchased under a contract, which have already begun to supply to Ukraine. And another 700 thousand doses – this is AstraZeneca, which we expect from COVAX,” the minister added.
