Lowe’s Canada confirmed the information on Monday, to the great satisfaction of the main union in the sector, the United Food and Commercial Workers, affiliated with the FTQ.

The $ 2 an hour bonus was due to expire on June 30.

The employees concerned work in Rona, Réno-Dépôt, Lowe’s stores, customer contact centers, as well as in establishments in Lowe’s supply chain, the hardware and renovation giant said.

Lowe’s took the opportunity to recall that “hundreds of positions” were still available in its establishments, both to work part-time and full-time.
