Due to the overflow of emergencies in the greater Montreal area, patients with COVID-19 have been transferred to other hospitals in the region, including in Lanaudière.
According to what Radio-Canada has learned, patients hospitalized at Cité-de-la-Santé in Laval were transferred during the last weekend to Pierre-le-Gardeur hospital in Terrebonne.
Also according to Radio-Canada, there would be an intensive care capacity of 350 beds to treat COVID-19 patients in Quebec.
Recall that 1,436 people are hospitalized for COVID-19 in the province according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health and Social Services, published yesterday.
