Covid 19. Vaccines are applied to children between 12 and 17 years of age in Nuevo León

The Mexican Social Security Institute is active this Saturday anticovid vaccination for minors from 12 to 17 years on the UMF 26 and UMF 71.

One of the parents who came with their son invited them to bring their little ones to receive the biological today, or during the next week.

In the Family Medicine Unit 26 in the first hours of application of the vaccine there was little influx of adolescents, however, the federal authority and the IMSS they are prepared with the amount of vaccines required.

“It is a necessity that you have to do it and if they are giving it to you and it is a vaccination for their good, you have to do it. It is very important that all children have all the vaccines because that helps them have a better life, I hope everyone brings their children,” reflected Don José Antonio Martínez as he left the IMSS auditorium where the vaccination is carried out.

While his 14-year-old son, who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, reiterated the importance of going to get vaccinated.

“I come because I want to. Because we all have to do it and because we have to take care of ourselves,” he mentioned.

For your part Miguel, at 13 years old, demonstrated the responsibility that exists in this group of the population. And while he patiently waited for the minutes of post-vaccination observation, he highlighted the fact of being vaccinated.

“I’m here because my parents care a lot about me, and because I need to be vaccinated,” he emphasized.

Specify that the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) reported that the anticovid vaccination for teens will continue until July 22.

In the case of minors between 12 and 14 years of age, in their first dose, and in relation to young people between 15 and 17 years of age, in the first or second dose.

After completing the vaccination today at four in the afternoon, the process will continue as Monday 18 to Friday 22 July and the biological will be available in the units of family medicine 20, 66, 68 and 71.

As well as in the general hospital of zone number 33 and the general hospital of zone number 67, respectively. In all cases, with a schedule of attention to young people from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
