There are now 917 people who have contracted the new coronavirus on the territory. The region also deplores an additional death, bringing the total to 54. The sectors of Beauport (197), Sainte-Foy-Sillery (132) and Haute-Ville de Québec (128) are those where contamination is the most significant.

However, the situation in hospitals is encouraging, as there have been no new hospitalizations related to COVID-19 since last Thursday. Currently, there are 23, including six in intensive care.

Note that six additional people are considered cured in the Capitale-Nationale, for a total of 411 recovered individuals.

If it is obviously too early to declare victory, the Lévis Manor Liverpool can at least enjoy a moment of calm. For the past week, the seniors’ residence has had no new cases.

To date, 29 residents and 14 facility health workers have been infected.
