221 new cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded from Friday June 26 at 5 p.m. to Saturday June 27 at 10 a.m. bringing the total number of contamination cases in the Kingdom to 11,854, according to a new report from the Ministry of Health published on its platform “covidmaroc.ma”.
No new deaths were recorded during the same period, adds the same source. The death toll has remained at 218 since the start of the epidemic.
The ministry also reported 44 new remissions. The total number of people declared cured now stands at 8,700.
An additional 6,723 cases have been excluded after negative laboratory test results, for a total of 615,525 cases excluded since the start of the epidemic.
