COVID-19: Minsa announces a new 36-hour vaccination day for this weekend

The Ministry of Health (minsa) announced that this weekend there will be a vaccination day against COVID-19 of 36 continuous hours, within the framework of the Day of the Peruvian Boy or Girl, in which there will be activations and raffles to encourage the immunization of the population.

In dialogue with RPP Newsthe director of Immunizations of the Minsa, Maria Elena Martinezassured that the vaccination gap in the country has been reduced; but there is still a significant percentage that is not immunized or that has not completed its vaccination schedule.

“As long as the virus continues to live with us, we are not free from being able to get sick and much more our children who still need to be vaccinated,” said the official.
