The Ministry of Health of the Province of Córdoba confirmed this Sunday 233 new cases of Covid-19, of which 89 correspond to Córdoba capital and 144 from the interior, with the following distribution by departments:

Of the total cases, 194 are linked to close contacts of previously confirmed cases and 39 are under investigation. In this way, the province of Córdoba has registered a total of 233 new cases to date and an accumulated of 5,892 cases.
From the beginning of the pandemic to date, in the province of Córdoba, PCR tests (swabs) were carried out on 171,121 people. This results in a rate of 45,505 people studied with CRP for every 1 million inhabitants. Today 2,617 studies were carried out, of which 2,183 are PCR and 434 serological tests.

This Sunday a death by Covid-19 was notified in the province of Córdoba, corresponding to a 71-year-old man, a native of Oliva. He was hospitalized and had a history of previous pathologies. To date there have been a total of 99 deaths from this cause.

The person was a native of Córdoba and was admitted to the Rawson Hospital, he was 64 years old.
Regarding the recovered persons, the proportion of discharges in relation to the total of confirmed cases in the province of Córdoba is 51%.

To date, 127 people are hospitalized in beds in critical units for Covid-19 adults, which represents 9.57% of the total beds in the public and private sectors of the Córdoba province.
