COVID-19 in Castellón: 3 outbreaks and 56 new positive cases in the last 24 hours | Radio Castellón

The Regional Ministry of Health has reported this Friday of three new shoots of COVID-19 in the province of Castellón, of 56 positive cases and of a new death in the last 24 hours. The Valencian government has explained that the three outbreaks have been registered in Castellón, with 11 positive cases, in Borriol with six, both of social origin, and last in Burriana with six infected people in the workplace.

The Ministry of Health has also rectified and explained that the outbreak attributed on September 23 to Ares del Maestrat, with 5 positive cases of social origin, corresponds to Castelló de la Plana.

The Generalitat has also reported 92 discharges in the province of Castellón in the last 24 hours. There are currently 63 people admitted to hospitals in the province, 10 of them in the Intensive Care Unit.

According to the data offered by the Ministry of Health this Friday, since the beginning of the health crisis, 4,189 people have been infected with coronavirus in the province, 4,638 people have been cured of the disease and 241 people have died.

In addition, according to the Generalitat, there are positive cases in a nursing home in the province. Unlike days ago, there are currently no positive cases of COVID-19 either in residences for people with functional diversity or in centers for minors in the province.
