Representatives of the Private Initiative went to the National Palace to deliver the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador his proposal to reactivate the economy to face the economic crisis caused by the pandemic of Covid-19 coronavirus.
The president of the Business Coordinating Council, Carlos Salazar He said they will make a proposal for their programs “and see how it helps.”
The meeting is attended by the president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Carlos Salazar; the president of the Mexican Business Council, Antonio Del Valle; the president of the Association of Banks of Mexico, Luis Niño de Rivera and, the president of the Concamin, Francisco Cervantes.
Also attending is the head of the Presidential office and coordinator of the Economic Cabinet, Alfonso Romo.
The meeting takes place three days after President López Obrador presents his plan to face the economic crisis due to the fall in oil prices and the coronavirus.
