COSENZA – The possibility of vaccination against Covid in pharmacies was included in the Budget Law, definitively approved today by the Senate. For the year 2021, therefore, the vaccine can be administered under the supervision of doctors, assisted, if necessary, by nurses or appropriately trained health personnel “. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Health Pierpaolo Sileri. This is a “very important point, for which I have fought, which will make it possible to multiply the opportunities to carry out the vaccine, accelerating the path towards the desired herd protection”. For the vaccination campaign in the maneuver “resources were included for the recruitment of 3 thousand doctors and 12 thousand nurses and health assistants, including foreign ones, as I have often wished. In addition, 25 million has been set aside for the nursing staff allowance operating at the offices of family doctors and 10 million for the same purpose at the offices of freely chosen pediatricians “.
To date 9,803 Italians are vaccinated with the doses arrived on December 27 on ‘Vaccine Day’.
