LOCHEM – People who are at increased risk of becoming seriously ill due to corona can still get a vaccination until December 22. The GGD North and East Gelderland will hold a ‘regional tour’ along various locations from 18 to 22 December. The permanent injection locations in Apeldoorn, Lichtenvoorde and Nunspeet will close on December 15. After December 22, only pregnant women and people with a high medical risk who are referred by a doctor can receive a corona shot.

In the last week of the so-called regional tour, you can get a shot at the locations below. This can be done by appointment or by walk-in. The order of the list is determined by the distance from the municipality of Lochem:

Make an appointment

You can make an appointment via planjeprik.nl with your DigiD or by telephone on: 0800 7070 (Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). During the regional tour it is also possible to go to a sampling location without an appointment. In that case, possible waiting times are possible.

The injection is done with the most currently available vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech. This vaccine has been adapted to the currently circulating corona variants. This round of injections is intended for people who are at a higher risk of becoming seriously ill from corona. These are people over 60 years old, adults (18-59 years) who receive an annual invitation for the flu shot, pregnant women, healthcare workers, people from medically high-risk groups and people who are eligible because of a vulnerable family member. The corona shot restores protection against corona and prevents hospitalization or death as much as possible.

More information about the corona shot and the injection locations can be found at: ggdnog.nl/vaccinatie-corona.
