Coronavirus Tuscany, the bulletin of 11 August: 22 new cases – Chronicle

Florence, 11 August 2020 – In Tuscany there are 10,674 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 22 more than yesterday (20 identified in the course of tracing and 2 from screening activities). New cases are 0.2% more than the previous day’s total and have an average age of about 38 years. The healed grow by 0.1% and reach 9,002 (84.3% of total cases).

The tests performed reached 454,393, 2,972 more than yesterday. The currently positive are 535 today, + 3.3% compared to yesterday. Today there are no new deaths. These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.

The following are the cases of positivity in the area with the change compared to yesterday. There are 3,334 total cases to date a Florence (15 more than yesterday), 572 a Prato, 761 a Pistoia (2 more), 1,076 a Massa, 1,419 a Lucca (2 more), 970 a Pisa (1 more), 494 a Livorno, 716 ad Arezzo (2 more), 441 in Siena, 420 in Grosseto.

The a total of 9,002 people recovered (5 more than yesterday, plus 0.1%): 122 clinically healed people (6 less than yesterday, minus 4.7%), that is, who became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection and 8,880 (11 more than yesterday, plus 0.1%) declared healed in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with double negative swab.

Today there are no new deaths. There are therefore 1,137 deceased since the beginning of the epidemic divided as follows: 417 in Florence, 52 in Prato, 81 in Pistoia, 174 in Massa Carrara, 144 in Lucca, 90 in Pisa, 63 in Livorno, 50 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena , 25 in Grosseto, 8 people died on Tuscan soil but were residents outside the region.
