We see soldiers from the four components of the army, in Belgium, on a mission abroad (in Lithuania to defend the airspace of the Baltic countries or in Mali, engaged in a United Nations mission) or at sea, applaud.

Others simply stand guard at the entrance to a military district, while paratroopers, wearing their wine-colored berets, are equipped to participate in the Vigilant Guardian (OVG) reinforcement to the federal police, ongoing since January 2015, to combat the terrorist threat.

Another team, whose members wear a protective mask and remain at a distance from each other, stands at the entrance to the Queen Astrid Military Hospital (HMRA) in Neder-over-Heembeek. This establishment received patients from several burn departments of civilian hospitals to relieve them and made ambulances available to 112 centers.
