Week after week, the vise of hospitalizations for Covid-19 loosens in Auvergne. But the virus is still circulating, and life resuming on terraces and other popular places encourages us not to lower our guard with barrier gestures.
This Thursday, May 27, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region still counts 1,950 hospitalizations for Covid-19 (451 less in one week) including 342 in intensive care (-65). 11,454 people have died in hospital since the start of the epidemic (+88 in one week).
By departments
Puy de Dome. This Thursday, May 27, there are therefore 159 hospitalizations (- 49 in one week) in Puy-de-Dôme, including 16 (-9) in intensive care.
Since the start of the epidemic: 2,649 hospitalized patients have been cured and have been able to return to their homes and 736 (+11) deaths have occurred in the hospitals of the department.
Allier. The department lists 45 hospitalizations due to Covid-19 (-10) including 10 in intensive care.
After hospitalization, 2,069 patients returned to their homes. The epidemic has claimed 580 (+5) victims since the start of the epidemic.
Cantal. There are 18 (-7) hospitalizations for Covid-19 including two in intensive care (-1).
564 patients were able to return to their homes after being hospitalized and 133 (+3) people died of the disease.
Haute-Loire. 59 (-11) people hospitalized, including five (-2) in intensive care.
1,250 patients returned to their homes and 250 (+2) people died from Covid-19 in the department.

In the Region, 2,912,115 people received at least one of the two injections: 159,774 in the Allier ?; 87,497 in Haute-Loire ?; 64,605 in Cantal ?; 255,637 in the Puy-de-Dôme.
The latest update of the incidence rates, published on May 25, was set at 148.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in the Allier ?; 111 in the Puy-de-Dôme ?; 57.4 in Cantal and 149 in Haute-Loire.
