Switzerland has 152 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, according to figures from the Federal Office of Public Health (OFSP). No additional deaths are to be deplored, but five new hospitalizations have been reported.
Switzerland had 182 more cases on Friday. It had previously fallen below the 100-case mark on Monday (66). From Tuesday and for the rest of the week, this threshold has been clearly crossed. The number of deaths is 1,712.
A total of 4,379 people have had to be hospitalized since the start of the pandemic. Over the last seven days, the total number of infections is 1,013, indicates the daily newsletter of the FOPH. Per 100,000 inhabitants, the incidence rate is 11.8.
Switzerland now has 1,301 people in isolation. 4071 individuals in their contacts have been quarantined. There are 13,865 other people returning from a trip from a country at risk and who also had to go through the quarantine box.
Since the start of the pandemic, 36,603 cases of Covid-19 contamination have been confirmed in the laboratory out of a total of 840,409 tests carried out.
