Culiacan.- Sinaloa is approaching the barrier of 15 thousand Covid-19 infections and on Monday the Ministry of Health (Ssa) reported 112 new infections and 18 deaths for this disease, which in total already they add 14 thousand 787 confirmed cases and two thousand 593 deaths that have been caused by the SARS-Cov2 virus (Coronavirus).
In the Covid-19 technical report of August 17, it is indicated that there are 604 active cases and 1,395 suspected of having the virus, which are in Ahome, El Fuerte, Culiacán, Escuinapa, Guasave, Mazatlán, Salvador Alvarado, Sinaloa, Navolato, Angostura, Mocorito, Elota, Rosario, Concordia, Choix, Badiraguato, San Ignacio and Cosalá.

The indicator of new cases went from 115 to 112 new cases that tested positive in the laboratory test and the origin of these patients is Culiacán 42, Mazatlán 22, Ahome 12, Guasave 11, Sinaloa 9, Angostura 5, Escuinapa 3, Badiraguato 2, Concordia 2 and Choix 1.
The statistics of hospitalized Covid-19 patients were reduced from 36.1% to 35.9% of active patients and an increase to 11.1% of seriously ill patients in intensive care. Most correspond to people over 60 who have developed other diseases before.
The number of recovered patients reaches 11 thousand 590 coronavirus patients and it is reported that 169 more are added who managed to defeat the disease and are from Culiacán 65, Mazatlán 36, Guasave 29, Ahome 26, Navolato 8, Salvador Alvarado 2, Cosalá 1, Elota 1 and Choix 1.
As for the deaths, 2,593 deaths have accumulated until August 17, and on this day 18 new deaths were reported in: Culiacán 7, Mazatlán 4, Ahome 2, Navolato 2, El Fuerte 1, Sinaloa 1 and Rosario 1.
