Coronavirus: Senegalese banned from traveling in the European Union

XALIMANEWS- According to information from the newspaper Les Echos, Senegal is one of the countries whose nationals will not be able to travel to the European Union from July 1, the date of opening of the Schengen area.

The reason given would be the lack of control of coronavirus disease in the country. It must be recognized, in fact, that Senegal has reached a very high level of presence of the disease with regard to the new leap of contamination.

In addition, countries like Morocco or Algeria, where there are more deaths, could be allowed to travel in the Schengen area. Ditto for Tunisia and Rwanda.

Among the other countries whose travelers will be refused entry to the EU, according to a draft list to be finalized on Wednesday, are Russia, Brazil, Qatar and the United States.
