DThe new Coronavirus Sars-CoV-2 was first discovered in China in December and has since spread across the globe. Also in Germany the number of cases has risen sharply again. According to the data available from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the district and state health offices, the number of cases rose to over 20,000 for the first time on Saturday afternoon. According to this, 20,142 people in Germany are infected with the novel corona virus.
The private Johns Hopkins University in Maryland registered for the Federal Republic on Friday evening 19,848 confirmed infections. As a result of the coronavirus, Johns Hopkins University in Germany counts 68.
