Argentina

The Argentine government registered 5,344 new cases of coronavirus: the largest number reported by the country in a single day. Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 136,118 infections have been confirmed.

Argentina also reported 117 new deaths, which is also the highest number of deaths in a single day.

Bolivia

After confirming 1,366 new cases of covid-19 on Tuesday, Bolivia registers a total of 62,357, according to the report of the Ministry of Health. 2,273 deaths were reported, 19,290 recovered patients, 11,425 suspected cases, according to the entity.

Brazil

Colombia

Peruvian authorities reported 4,406 new cases of covid-19 on Tuesday. Thus, the number of confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic is 362,087.

Of the infected people, 12,747 are hospitalized and 1,342 of them are in intensive care. The total death toll, according to official data, is 13,579.

Dominican Republic

The Ministry of Public Health of the Dominican Republic reported on Tuesday that in the last 24 hours six people died from causes related to covid-19, so the total number of deaths is 999.

Authorities also reported 841 new coronavirus cases, totaling 54,797 across the country.

Venezuela

The government of the questioned president of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro 440 new cases of coronavirus were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 12,774. Of the additional cases, 412 are of community transmission and 28 are imported.

With four new deaths, the total deaths from covid-19 rises to 120.
