South Africa calls for the withdrawal of one million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine
The South African government has decided to give up the vaccine AstraZeneca, which in a first study on a few thousand volunteers proved ineffective against local variant of Coronavirus 501Y.V2, now dominant in the country.
