Milan, Sala: «From 6,000 to 1,500 accesses by metro»

This was underlined by the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, in the usual video posted on his social pages talking about the topic of reopening. “For example, if on May 4th production in textiles and fashion will reopen, I assume that shops will reopen shortly afterwards, because if the stores do not empty the summer sample and do not make money, it is difficult for them to place orders on the winter”, added the mayor of Milan. The Lombard capital, like the other Italian cities, will have to be organized for the restart and in this phase the most «delicate» theme will be that of mobility. The mayor Giuseppe Sala reiterated this in the video posted on his social pages, in which he gave an example of how public transport will change. “At the Cadorna metro station in normal conditions we let 6,000 people enter per hour in the morning, with the measurements that indicate us today we will probably let 1,500 people enter, that is 25% – he said – and among other things we can make it enter, and then place users well on the docks, 75 at a time. It does not come out if there are no other formulas – concluded Sala – therefore the idea of talking about cycle paths is not an ideological choice, but a choice of vision and also of necessity “.
