The Winterthur Warriors suffered a clear home defeat against the Calanda Broncos on Saturday. The team from south-east Switzerland beat the Warriors 31: 6 and with this victory takes over the leader position in the table.

The story of the game can be summed up very briefly. The two offensive lines of the two teams did an excellent job. In an interview with offensive coordinator Cody Kent, the American made it clear that he was satisfied with the Winterthur running game – but that there were clear deficits in the passing game.
