Coronavirus Italy: the updated situation relating to deaths, newly infected and healed. Bulletin of November 3.
Coronavirus, here is the official bulletin of the Civil protection for November 3 (yesterday’s numbers in brackets):
- Infected 418.142 (yesterday 396.512).
- Healed 302,275 (yesterday 296,017).
- Died 39,412 (yesterday 39,059).
They are 2.225 (yesterday 2.022) the hospitalized in intensive care and 23,339 (yesterday 21,862) total hospitalizations including people with mild and moderate symptoms.
The worsening trend of the figures is impressive with a notable leap forward in October.
The latest DPCM have “respected” this trend, gradually inserting restrictive measures that are increasingly intrusive and increasingly drastic, albeit necessary.
There are hundreds of millions of positives in the world and every day the geographical expansion of the epidemic increases.
The Italian government has extended the state of emergency until January 31st.
In recent months, the health authorities have been reorganizing the services in order to cover the return of the high numbers of hospitalizations.
In particular, intensive care and low intensity care were the two levels of setting that experienced the greatest criticality in the spring, many of which have already reopened for the new emergency.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has compared this possibility with the historical facts that characterized the Spanish pandemic.
This for two consecutive autumns had rather important epidemiological returns, claiming millions of victims on all continents, also due to the inadequacy of the treatments of the time.
