Russia exceeds the threshold of 260,000 deaths from COVID
Russia has passed this Thursday the barrier of 260,000 deaths from coronavirus after notifying for the first time since the start of the pandemic more than 1,250 deaths in one day.
The national operational center for the fight against the coronavirus of the Russian country has confirmed a total of 37,374 new cases and 1,251 deaths in the last 24 hours due to illness.
Moscow appears one more day as the city with the most cases and daily deaths, with 4,062 and 96, respectively, followed by Saint Petersburg, which has announced 2,645 and 84.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Russian country has accumulated a total of 9.2 million infections and 260,335 deaths, according to the Russian agency Sputnik.
