Coronavirus in Mali: 38 new cases, 29 cured and 3 deaths (June 6, 2020)

Communiqué No. 96 of June 6, 2020 from the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs on the follow-up of prevention and response actions against Coronavirus disease.

The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs communicates:

Today, June 6, 2020, on two hundred and one (201) tested samples, health services recorded thirty-eight (38) new cases of COVID-19. Furthermore, we note twenty-nine (29) patients healed and three (3) death in the past twenty-four (24) hours.

Ségou region

To date, the cumulative situation is:

– 1523 positive cases,

– 54 deaths in care centers and 36 in the community;

– 845 cured.

The search continues to find all the contact persons.

Nowadays, 2513 contact persons are monitored daily.

The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs invites people to remain calm and to respect preventive measures.
