Coronavirus in Italy: 226,699 positive cases and 32,169 deaths. The bulletin of 19 May

In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 226,699 people contracted the virus SARS-CoV-2 (+813 more than yesterday, for a growth of 0.4%; yesterday +451). Of these, 32,169 died (+162, + 0.5%, yesterday +99) and 129,401 (+2075, + 1.6%, yesterday +2150) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 65,129 (-1424, -2.1% compared to yesterday; the bill rises to 226,699 – as mentioned above – if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, ie counting all the people who are been positive for the virus since the outbreak). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.

The hospitalized patients with symptoms are 9,991, of which 716 (-33, -4.4%, yesterday -13) are in intensive care.
