In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 224,760 people contracted the virus SARS-CoV-2 (875 more than yesterday, for a growth of 0.4%; yesterday +789). Of these, 31,763 died (+153, + 0.5%; yesterday +242) and 122,810 (+2,605, + 2.2%; yesterday +4917) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 70,187 (-1,883 compared to yesterday; the count rises to 224,760 – as mentioned above – if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, ie counting all the people who were found positive at virus since the beginning of the epidemic). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.
There are 10,400 patients hospitalized with symptoms, of which 775 (-33, -4.1%; yesterday -47) are in intensive care.
