The Ministry of Transport informed that from Monday June 29 it will be mandatory to use the system “Book your train” to be able to travel in the Sarmiento.
Thus, only essential workers will be able use the service from 6 to 10 in the morning towards the City of Buenos Aires.
The objective of the authorities is reduce the chances of contagion in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) so all passengers will travel seated.

Transport Minister Mario Meoni assured that in this way they sought “to avoid the accumulation of passengers” and “to respect social distancing.”
Government could extend this system to the remaining rail lines, which began to be implemented on the Tigre del Miter branch.
