He Ministry of Health confirmed 2,189 new cases of coronavirus and 26 deaths from the disease in the past 24 hours. With these records, they total 59,933 positives in the country and 1,232 deaths.90.7% of infections are concentrated in the Metropolitan Area (AMBA).
Of the total cases, 1,063 (1.8%) are imported, 21,599 (36%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 25,600 (42.7%) are cases of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.
Since the last report issued, 16 new deaths were recorded. There are eight men (four of 63, 94, 78 and 75, residing in the Province of Buenos Aires); four of 92, 87, 63 and 73 years, who lived in the City. Likewise, 8 women died: one of 90 years, resident in the Province and seven of 91, 85, 98, 82, 77, 95 and 69 years of CABA.

In the morning report the health portfolio had reported ten new deaths. Six men (three 62, 86 and 62 years old, in the province of Buenos Aires); one 87 years old (Neuquén); one 66 years old (Mendoza); one 89 years old (Río Negro); and four women: three of 86, 68 and 77 years (Province of Buenos Aires) and one of 89 years, resident in CABA.
The Province of Buenos Aires again registered the largest number of cases in one day, with 1225 positives, followed by the City with 852. Chaco (47) followed; Between Ríos (24) and Neuquén (12); Santa Fe, Mendoza and Río Negro had 6 cases, while Córdoba and Chubut, 5 positive.
On the other hand, according to official data, they were already occupied 55.1% of beds of Intensive Therapy Unit in the Metropolitan Area. If Nation is taken, that percentage is at 49.8%.
