Coronavirus: balance of cases and deaths from covid-19 in Colombia today, July 10 – Health


This Friday, the Ministry of Health presented a new balance with the covid-19 figures in the country. In the last 24 hours, 211 more deaths from the pandemic were registered, so the death toll in Colombia from the pandemic rose to 4,925.

Likewise, 6,803 new infections were reported and in total 140,776 positives are reported throughout the national territory.

Health authorities also noted that 58,800 patients have so far recovered from the virus. Even so, Bogotá continues to be the most affected city with 45,016 cases.

This Friday the results of 23,225 tests were reported.

The 6,803 new cases were registered in Bogotá (2,667), Barranquilla (772), Antioquia (630), Valle del Cauca (567), Atlántico (499), Cundinamarca (320), Cartagena (231), Nariño (143), Tolima (129), Sucre (102), Santander (87), Meta (85), Norte de Santander (77), Córdoba (77), Santa Marta (66), Cauca (57), Chocó (47), Magdalena (45 ), Bolívar (41), Cesar (36), La Guajira (27), Boyacá (21), Casanare (15), Huila (14), Putumayo (8), Caldas (8), Risaralda (7), Amazonas ( 7), Arauca (6), Quindío (6), Caquetá (5), San Andrés (1).

On the other hand, the 211 deaths reported in the last 24 hours occurred in Barranquilla, Cartagena, Chocó, Córdoba, Magdalena, Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Santander, Norte de Santander, Sucre, Santa Marta, Nariño, La Guajira , Caquetá and Boyacá.

With the report presented by the Ministry of Health this Friday, the total infections in the country are registered in Bogotá (45,016), Atlántico (31,887), Valle del Cauca (13,956), Bolívar (11,732), Antioquia (8,455), Nariño ( 4,418), Cundinamarca (3,962), Magdalena (2,654), Amazonas (2,406), Sucre (2,376), Meta (1,517), Chocó (2,126), Córdoba (1,509), Tolima (1,426), Cesar (1,418), Santander ( 1,246), La Guajira (845), Risaralda (716), Cauca (710), Norte de Santander (511), Boyacá (480), Huila (416), Caldas (297), Quindío (194), Arauca (141) , Casanare (112), Caquetá (86), Putumayo (49), Guaviare (42), Vaupés (29), San Andrés and Providencia (29), Guainía (14) and Vichada (1).

In the world there are 12,245,417 cases in total and 554,721 people have died from the pandemic; likewise, 6,795,141 have been recovered.
