Mexico accumulated, at the end of this August 5, 49 thousand 698 deaths from Covid-19, with 456 thousand 100 cases of confirmed infections of coronavirus, according to authorities of the Health Secretary.
José Luis Alomy, general director of Epidemiology, detailed in a press conference from the National Palace that there are 85 thousand 845 suspected cases, although with 499 thousand 915 negative cases accumulated in the country.

The University of Kent Biosciences School (United Kingdom) and the Goethe University Institute of Medical Virology, Frankfurt am Main (Germany) have identified that a glycoprotein known as transferrin may contribute key to serious forms of Covid-19.
