A twentieth death in the Nièvre
In the Nièvre, there is an additional death attributed to Covid-19, the twentieth, and the first in ten days, announced on Saturday May 2, Denis Thuriot, chairman of the council of elected officials of the Groupement hospitalier territory (GHT). Clamecy hospital is part of a group with Auxerre, Tonnerre and Avallon, in Yonne. “This is a so-called third-line hospital in the fight against the coronavirus,” explains Claudine Boisorieux, former mayor of Clamecy and still president of the hospital’s supervisory board, while waiting for his successor, Nicolas Bourdoune, take office. “It can accommodate patients who require medical supervision but does not have an intensive care unit for the most serious cases”.
The Clamecycois hospital thus has six beds dedicated to welcoming people affected by the epidemic. Fewer patients come to Nevers emergency room: doctors worry
In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, as of May 2, 1,139 people are hospitalized (one less than the day before), including 172 in intensive care (six less than the day before). 850 deaths have been recorded since the start of the epidemic in hospitals (+ 7 compared to the previous day). 2,492 people were discharged from hospital (+ 8 compared to the previous day), according to the ARS press release of May 2.

Occasional and semi-occasional traders in the covered markets are authorized; permanent food traders will only be present on foreign markets, the city announces. Registrations in public schools for the next school year are suspended, the education reception is closed to the public.

Merchants from Saint-Arigle have organized themselves to set up a delivery service for their customers. And they are not the only ones to offer new services during periods of containment.
