In the canton of Graubünden, the coronavirus spread in a youth camp with a hundred people between the ages of 9 and 13. Seven people became infected with the virus. There are also a number of suspected cases.
The cantonal health authority announced on Thursday that 80 of the 100 young people lived in the canton of Graubünden. Performances for a final concert were rehearsed in the seven-day camp last week. The health department was informed on Monday about the new infections in the camp.
The Adonia youth camp is affected. The children were in a camp in Parpan last week and also gave two concerts, one in Obersaxen and one in Davos. Moved to other camps
Some participants in the youth camp had moved to another holiday camp last weekend before symptoms appeared. The approximately 30 participants were immediately quarantined and the holiday camp was closed.
According to the Health Department, 14 people are currently in isolation, 196 people in quarantine and two people in hospital care. Due to the increasing number of cases, the health authority wants to strengthen controls in the implementation of the protection concepts.
