Corona news ticker: 37 countries removed from the high-risk list NDR.de – News

Germany removes almost 40 countries from the high-risk list

Today the federal government removes 37 countries from the list of corona high-risk areas. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced this on Friday. It is easier for travelers coming from these countries to return to Germany. No country is newly classified as a high-risk area. The EU countries now removed from the list are Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden and Hungary. Also the following overseas territories of France: Guadeloupe, St. Barthélemy, St. Martin and the following overseas territories of the Netherlands: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Eustatius, Saba, St. Martin. The following countries were also removed from the high-risk list: Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Belize, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Ecuador, Grenada, Guyana, Iraq, Kosovo, Madagascar, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Panama, Peru , Philippines, Moldova, Saint Lucia, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Suriname and Ukraine.

RKI registers 107,913 new corona infections – incidence at 1,240.3

The nationwide seven-day incidence has fallen again. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week in the morning at 1,240.3. For comparison: the previous day the value was 1,253.3. A week ago, the nationwide incidence was 1,346.3 (previous month: 1,017.4). The health authorities in Germany reported 107,913 new corona infections to the RKI within one day. A week ago there were 118,032 infections. According to the new information, 57 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. A week ago there were 73 deaths.

Schleswig-Holstein: The incidence of new infections is falling slightly

The seven-day incidence of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants in Schleswig-Holstein has fallen again somewhat – to 853.8, as can be seen from the data from the state registration office. The previous day the value was 883.2, a week ago it was 767.4. 1,426 new cases were recently registered in SH, the day before there were 3,777, a week ago 1,899.
