It is reported that Apple will delay the production of the iPhone 12, for a month from the scheduled date.
This delay is a result of the impact of the emerging Corona virus on the supply and manufacturing lines of the iPhone 12, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.
And news spread about Apple’s plans to release four different iPhone models later this year.
Apple was to release the new iPhone 12 in September, as it begins distributing it to outlets by the end of the month.
The company is still able to distribute the new phone because of the manufacturing operations that continue during the summer months, which makes it able to ship it to distributors immediately after the detection of the phone.
However, the delay in widespread production of the new phone may cause a shortage of its numbers in the market later this year.
Despite the current news regarding the delay in the production of iPhone 12, this delay will not affect the launch of Apple’s new phone, as it will manufacture it between July and September.
This will not be the first time that the extensive production process has been delayed for Apple, in 2017, iPhone 8 and iPhone X did not arrive until November due to production problems.
