In the Offenbach region the incidences are falling, the city of Offenbach is several days below the maximum level. However, the numbers could be deceiving.

Offenbach – That Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration has the current Corona case numbers announced. In whole Hessen 400 people got in touch with the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 infected. However, it must be noted that the health authorities in the time between Christmas and New Year test less – and therefore the confirmed cases are also lower. In all of Hesse there were 71 within 24 hours Deaths, the total number increases to 2,582.

Corona in Offenbach / Hanau / Darmstadt: No reliable numbers on the holidays
In the region around Offenbach, Hanau and Darmstadt officially none of the circles is in the black warning level Hessian prevention and escalation concept. Offenbach: Corona incidence in Offenbach below 200
In Offenbach there are 633 active cases, as reported by the city’s health department on Tuesday (December 29, 2020). The 7 day incidence is 158.9, which is the third day in a row below the threshold of 200, from which night exit restrictions are introduced. The rule is that existing exit restrictions are suspended if the incidence is below 200 for five consecutive days. This day would be in Offenbach an New Year’s Eve, the trend should be low Incidence continue. Nevertheless, it is unclear whether the city would relax the measures before the turn of the year.
There are currently 32 people Offenbach because of a Corona infection treated in hospital. According to the city, their condition is largely stable. Corona in the region: The Odenwaldkreis reports eight new deaths
Also the Odenwaldkreis has published the current case numbers. As in Offenbach the numbers can be deceiving here, emphasizes the circle. The affected persons live in: Hanau (16), Maintal (5), Bruchköbel (4), Nidderau (3), Bad Soden-Salmünster, Biebergemünd, Rodenbach, Schlüchtern, Sinntal, Wächtersbach (2 each), Brachttal, Erlensee, Gelnhausen, Großkrotzenburg, Langenselbold, lentil dish, Neuberg, Niederdorfelden and Steinau. Two cases have not yet been assigned.
