Ritten – The Corona crisis not only affects our lives, it also seems to change the way we die. This emerges from an interview of the Dolomiten Tagblatt with undertaker Hubert Rottensteiner am Ritten.

The 48-year-old has been accompanying the deceased on her last journey for twelve years. There have been eleven since the beginning of the Corona crisis in March.

This is not a noticeable increase compared to the same period last year. Nevertheless, everything has changed.

Hubert Rottensteiner always takes a breath under his protective mask. He struggles for words to describe the surreal situation.
