Lindner himself announced his infection almost at the same time via Twitter: “After two years without a Covid 19 infection yesterday, a negative result in the test center and today a negative quick test: positive.” But thanks to “three vaccinations” he says “only slight ones that subside again cold symptoms” on.
Whether Minister Lindner will be allowed to take a seat in the government plane back to Berlin as planned at around 7:00 p.m. CET today, or like NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) recently in Israel quarantine phase has to complete was initially unclear. Lindner’s participation in the federal party conference of the FDP next weekend (April 23/24) in Berlin also seems questionable.
