In Potsdam (Brandenburg), two students tested positive for the corona virus. One goes to the Montessori school center Am Stern, the other goes to the Catholic Marienschule, as the city announced on Friday.
► At the school center, 20 people who were identified as direct contact persons were tested for the virus on Friday. The test results are expected on Saturday at the earliest.
► According to the current status, 80 people have been identified as contact persons in the Marienschule and are to be tested on Saturday. The results from the laboratory of the Ernst von Bergmann Clinic are expected on Sunday.
A quarantine was issued for the identified contact persons.
The two people are two of the three newly infected people in Potsdam since Thursday. The number of people who have been infected with the virus in Potsdam since the beginning of the pandemic is currently 680. In the past seven days, the coronavirus has been detected in six people in Potsdam. A total of 600 people are considered recovered in Potsdam. 133 Category I contacts are currently in quarantine at home.
