Corinthians terminated the contract with Wagner Love

The Brazilian Corinthians on its official website announced the termination of the agreement with the former striker of CSKA Wagner Love.

The contract with the 35-year-old football player is terminated by agreement of the parties. It is noted that Wagner accepted the proposal to move to another club. His contract with Corinthians expired in December 2020.

“On behalf of the club, the president and director would like to thank Wagner Love for the work during his second visit to Corinthians,” the press service said.

According to the Brazilian club, Wagner Love played a total of 121 matches for Corinthians, in which he scored 29 goals. The forward is the champion of Brazil (2015).

Love spent three career segments at CSKA: 2004–2009, 2010–2012, 2013. Mikhail Grushevsky, a well-known fan of Moscow CSKA, said that in 2019 the Brazilian striker could again become an “army man”.
