Poly is now announcing antimicrobial product protection for its new “Rove DECT IP” phones. Integrated during production, the Microban technology within the “Poly Rove” family takes on the task of ensuring the hygiene of the telephone surfaces over the entire service life of the devices. The aim is to actively help combat the growth of harmful bacteria without impairing the design, functions or robustness of the Poly devices.

Wireless security combined with antimicrobial protection

Collaborate safely at critical workplaces
“Poly Rove” DECT devices were developed to increase confidence in collaboration and communication in critical workplaces. The cordless phones enable mobile use in large organizations and can be scaled to up to 1,000 handsets. In addition to the Microban technology, “Poly Rove” telephones offer protection against dust and liquids in accordance with protection class IP65. This makes them suitable for use in critical environments such as healthcare, manufacturing or retail. With the “Poly Rove R8” repeater, the DECT encryption is retained, so that security is guaranteed, even when moving from a distance. In addition, “Poly Rove” phone systems have audio with HD speech and improved background noise suppression. Programmable line buttons and a large screen also simplify navigation, even with critical calls from a warehouse or an emergency room.
