The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the PAI and CSS, conducts training on the use and management of the new Pfizer vaccine which is about to arrive in Panama. aimed at children from 6 months to 4 years with 11 months and 29 days.
Dalys Pinto, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health’s EPI Expanded Immunization Program, indicated that training coordinators from all the Health Regions at the national level participated, Countrywide Expanded Immunization Program coordinators as well as Social Security Fund counterparts and representatives of private hospitals.

“The vaccination techniques for this new vaccine were explained to him, how long an open vial lasts, the doses that must be applied, everything concerning the route of administration and the registration information system that must be maintained in every region of the country ”, Pinto specified.
