Mia Khalifa came forward to defend her post. ‘The post is in no way intended to promote violence. I said freedom fighters. Because Palestinians are freedom fighters. They are fighting for their freedom every day’- the actress said.
She also shared the post criticizing Todd Shapiro. ‘All I did was make sure there was footage of how my men breached the walls of the open prisons. And how they gained freedom from discrimination will be written in the history books. I stand with those who fight oppression. Do your due diligence before begging for my investment in your project. Because I am Lebanese. Are you crazy to think that I will be a part of colonialism?’- the actress wrote in the post.
